~ NEW~ On Friday, February 6th, the CCA hosted a CPR & AED training session presented by the Captiva Fire Department and the Sanibel Fire & Rescue Districts. This training provided individualized, hands-on life saving experience to attendees. The course was based on materials supplied by the American Heart Association. Thanks to representatives from Captiva Fire Control and Sanibel Fire & Rescue for this excellent training effort! Captivans Rich Dickerson, Shawn Kilgore, Nick Miller and Mark Wells, along with Tim Barrett from Sanibel, conducted the training and demonstrations.
